How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, especially for early airport runs, hospital appointments and weekend nights. Same-day bookings are fine if I'm free, so just call or text.
How much will it cost?
Hackney fares aren't metered. They're agreed in advance. Tell me where and when, and I'll give you a price before you book. That's the price you pay, and you'll always get a receipt.
Can you bring me home from Naas, Dublin or a night out?
Yes. Arrange the return when you book your trip out, and I'll collect you later that day, evening or night and bring you back to Rathangan.
Will you wait for me at a hospital appointment?
Yes. Book a hospital trip and I'll wait and bring you home. The first 2 hours of waiting are free; after that, waiting is charged at 50c per minute. Let me know your appointment time so I can plan.
Can I flag you down on the street?
No. By law a hackney can only carry passengers who've booked, so please always call, text or book online first.
Can you help with a wheelchair, walker or shopping?
Yes. The boot takes a folded wheelchair, and I'm happy to help with bags and mobility aids. Mention it when you book so I can plan for it.
